Kelly has a serial fascination with starting companies and revels in small details that bring a new company to fruition. Prior to Inkd he was the founder of Imagekind - the largest online venue for buying and selling art. Imagekind was sold to CafePress in 2008. In the late '90s Kelly was co-founder of an early online video content initiative called RocketVox (acquired by thePlatform). Kelly started his career peddling a commercial version of the source code from the Mosaic web browser before there was a Netscape. In 1995 he started working at RealNetworks as they were trying to figure out how to stream audio over the Internet. Kelly maintains a personal blog at www.kellysmith.com and invests in various software companies through www.curiousoffice.com He quit drinking caffeine as a 2009 New Years Resolution and yet he still spends too many late nights tinkering with his MacBook Pro.
