Inkd Launches a Bevy of New Products and Services Including Logos, Online Printing and Custom Design

SEATTLE, September 15th / -- Today Inkd announces their entry into the logo market as customers can access hundreds of pre-made logos from the Inkd library or get custom logos developed via the vast Inkd designer community. Along with this new custom logo creation service, Inkd continues to offer its graphic design service offerings, including world-class print design templates and even one-of-a-kind custom print designs. Businesses now have a cost effective alternative for projects with short deadlines or very limited budgets. As well, with the addition of a much-anticipated online printing service, Inkd has closed the loop for businesses and individuals looking for quick and easy creative solutions, while maintaining a stellar level of quality and style. Inkd, a website launched to much acclaim in the spring of this year, has quickly changed how businesses and designers create marketing collateral by "crowdsourcing" print design templates submitted by contributors from over 20 countries. Calling itself the World's First Market for Original Print Design, Inkd's product line contains thousands of newsletters, flyers, brochures, business cards and more.

"We've been approached about pre-made logos, custom logos and custom designs since day one, and offering printing services makes total sense for our business customers who are looking for a start-to-finish design solution" says Inkd founder and CEO Kelly Smith. "When potential customers and even designers look at the Inkd site they can see right away that our community offers a really high level of design, and they want to see that level through to the finished product, and now we can help them do that."

This new announcement about custom logo design services and online printing follows Inkd's recent annountment about their design template library subscription progam, which allows customers unlimited access to every design template in the Inkd library for as low as $199. The new logo product offerings are included with subscription access, says Smith.

The Inkd print design marketplace was launched and financed by online veterans who have seen similar industry transformations before. Backers include Seattle venture capital firm Second Avenue Partners along with an impressive line-up of angel investors who are associated with game changing online ventures such as Expedia, Zillow, Corbis and Whitepages.com. Mike Slade is an Inkd board member and founder of ESPN.com, ABCNews.com and the Go.com network - leading online destinations eventually sold to the Walt Disney Corporation. "We look for opportunities where there is a real opening to disrupt and improve upon the status quo. Inkd could be a win-win for marketers, business owners and print shops but also for designers as well in that they are able to earn recurring revenue in an entirely new way by contributing to the community."
